Summary of Position:

Perform administration functions for financial systems (Oracle Cloud) for all phases of the Record to Report and Procure to Pay processes, including development and maintenance of reports which support those processes. Provide technical support and lead system enhancements and project implementations.

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain and update application configurations/settings of the Oracle ERP Cloud Products (GL, AP, FA, AR, Procurement, and Expenses) including the administration of all General Ledger hierarchies and metadata, as well as end user support for the General Ledger Cloud system Smartview tool.
  • Perform analysis to support ad hoc requests from management as well as legacy reporting deep dive analysis into data driving financial results leveraging Premium, Claim and Enrollment Data Domains.
  • Support the EmblemHealth and ACPNY financial reporting process and oversee the creation of ad-hoc reports using Oracle Cloud Reporting Studio, Smartview and Business Intelligence tool, including Income Statements, Management, FTE Headcount Reports, Trend Analysis, and Budget Variance Reports
  • Serve as P2P process owner within Financial Systems team advising and supporting Procurement and Payables interfaces and processes and enhancements.
  • Plan, Execute and/or Implement systems enhancements in conjunction with stakeholders throughout the business as appropriate.
  • Perform unlock/locking activities for CVRs (Cross Validation Rules) as needed by the business and support effort to update/optimize overall CVR landscape.
  • Perform other related tasks as directed or required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Financial Management
  • 4 – 6+ years of experience in a financial system support role required
  • 2+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud Procure to Pay and Record to Report required
  • Financial systems experience administering Financial Planning and Reporting Systems including strong hands-on reporting
  • experience with Oracle OTBI, Hyperion, Smart View, FRS or similar delivered reporting tools required
  • Working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles required
  • Advanced MS Office - to be used in analysis as well as front-end tool development for other users required
  • Ability to program using SQL and general RDMS knowledge preferred
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks/projects with competing priority levels and deadlines required
  • Ability to function effectively as an individual contributor with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment required
  • Results-driven with strong personal initiative, yet sensitive to a strong collegial/collaborative environment required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to train a wide variety of users on IT applications required
