Clinical Trainer - Multiple Openings/REMOTE

Summary of Position
Identify, develop and conduct appropriate training programs, including working with the Instructional Designer and Business Partners to design and implement training. Maintain records of training activities and employees’ progress. Will work with audit team to identify and develop trainings based on the results of audits and corrective actions. Will be working with business partners and Instructional Designer to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate workplace performance and training solutions. Responsible for coordinating training from external vendors to meet the needs of the department. Provide services per the NYCE contract.
Principal Accountabilities
- Trains workflow, process and clinical content on to Clinical / non-clinical staff on the audit team. Needs to understand and be able to train Case Management and Utilization Management functions.
- Develops training resources and tools for the audit teams, to ensure consistent application of concepts of UM and CM.
- Develop, deliver and maintain the new hire and annual required training (such as product training, Special Needs Plan training, updates on regulatory/accreditation requirements) for Medical Management staff that are applicable to all depts supported (Medical Directors, UM and CM) for both internal staff and delegates as appropriate.
- Provides training on CCA to non UM/CM teams such as Neighborhood Care, Quality, Pharmacy or external vendors.
- Develops training and training evaluation plans for various systems projects and other projects within the department.
- Conducts training according to agreed up timeframes and effectively communicates testing results.
- Coordinates training from external resources (both EH employees and Vendors) for annual skill/knowledge training on Health Care Disparities, Diabetes, Asthma).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- RN required; BSN preferred
- 4-6+ years of related experience
- Minimum of two years in managed care experience
- Training experience, knowledge of principles of adult education
- Regulatory, compliance and/or accreditation experience
- Experience with medical management / claims systems
